A  new star in the heavens. Avalon was the lady of Tallywood. A Best Puppy in  Show winner, group placer and specialty winner, she also became one of our  great producers. Gone too soon, but she lives on in her kids, grandkids  and great grandkids. Avalon is the dam of Am.Can.Ch.Tallywood Justify HC,        Ch.Tallywood's Future State, Am.Can.Ch.Tallywood State Of The Heart, Ch.Tallywood  Gambit Paparazzi, and Tallywood State Of Affairs  HC.

Gunner was our  first great smooth. Sent up to visit by his owner, Ramana Boulter of  Crossheart Collies, California, he set records in Canada by taking two all  breed Best In Shows and became the #7 Herding Dog, #1 smooth for 1986. He  is the first smooth to ever place in the top ten Herding Dogs.  Gunner was also #3 smooth in the US in 1985. He spent  his time between both houses, and will always hold a special place in our  hearts.

(Am.Can.Ch.Gambit's Freeze Frame HC ex Ch.Tallywood State Of  Grace)
Ricoh finished his Canadian title in three times out. He was BOW/BP at the ASSCA  specialty, BOW/BP and Best in Sweeps at the CC of BC specialty, then went  to one all breed and took a BOB over specials to finish. Like his  beautiful dam, Ricoh left us far too soon, and remains forever in our  hearts.

Adam was a group placing puppy and a Best Puppy in Show winner. He is the sire of our multi  Best In Show winning smooth Tryst, and was loved by Chris Inouye and Wendy Yokohama of Hawaii. Adam finished his US title with specialty and all breed majors.

Katie, the beautiful  and clever collie proved that in conjunction with a loving and dedicated owner, collies can and will do it all! Katie was also a multi group placer  with specialty wins. Special thanks to Donna Smith for her dedication  to the all round collie and for all the love she gave to Katie during her lifetime.

Spirit was one of  our winningest bitches, topping the Canadian National in 1992 and              was also #1 bitch in Canada that year. A Best Puppy in Show winner,  she was also Runner Up Puppy of the Year at the prestigious Credit Valley competition in Toronto. In the US, she finished with four specialty  majors and won specialties and group placements there. It is still hard to wake up each morning to a world without Spirit.

Aura amazed us throughout her life. As a puppy she was #1 bitch in Canada, shown only a few  times to win groups, specialties and Best Puppy in Shows. Her first  US major was won the day before the CCA National from the 6-9 class  over a huge entry, and she never looked back. She ended her puppy              career by going Best in Sweeps, Best Opposite and Best Puppy at the Canadian National, and in 1996 came back as an adult to win Best In  Specialty.
AM.CAN. CH.CROSSHEART MOONLIGHT RAID HC TT
Blair was a Gunner niece who ruled Tallywood with an iron paw. She won eleven specialties, her last by going BOV at the CCC National specialty at ten years of age! She also won two intervariety wins and is the first smooth to take an intervariety win at the CCC National. A multi group winner and all breed Best In Show winner, she was Canada's #1 smooth for three years in a row.  Truly, this girl had the most amazing personality and we look for her in every puppy born.

What can we say about Shiver - she truly did it all.  The first Canadian bred smooth to take an all breed Best In Show!  A CCC National winner and multi specialty winner, a two time #1 smooth and the dam of the top winning Canadian smooth of all time!  We loved this girl.

Aspen was one of the most special collies to ever have lived at Tallywood. Co-bred by Linda Robbins and Kay Schmidt, she came here at nine weeks of age and immediately captivated us.  She finished her US title with four majors, including BOV over specials at the Sacramento Valley CC.  Shown three times as a special in Canada, she was BOS to BOB at the CCC national, BOV at the CCC regional, and BOB at the DCSSA!  She was the dam of Ch.Tallywood Visualization and Am.Can.Ch.Tallywood Heart Of The Matter

Tryst was our most winningest collie, and her pups have left the biggest impression.  She was a three time Best Puppy In Show winner, and a SIX time all breed Best In Show winner.  She was #4 herding dog in 1997, the highest a smooth collie has ever placed.  More importantly she gave us two amazing daughters to carry on with - Am.Can.Ch.Tallywood Rainforest Radiant ROMX and Am.Can.Ch.Tallywood Transcendence.
Tryst and Aspen were inseperable friends in their later years, and passed away within a week of each other in 2007.
